Mutants are the first enemies you are introduced to during the Tutorial and are commonm throughout Mount Tam.

Cleavers

Melee-focused though capable of throwing the cleaver, mostly charges straight at ark hunters. Vulnerable to headshots though they move fast.

Demolitionists

Enhanced version of the Cleaver with a protective helmet and stronger attacks.

Grenadiers

Large brutes who use Detonators for distance fire but capable of melee up close. Vulnerable to headshots.

Minigunners

Similar to Grenadiers but use a minigun.

Riflemen

Standard Mutant enemy that seeks cover for distance weapons fire but will melee in close quarters. Vulnerable to headshots.

Shotgunners

Slow-firing enemy with shotgun that does heavy damage at mid-range and will melee up-close. Vulnerable to headshots.

Snipers

Mutant with a sniper rifle that usually sets up at a distance and crouched. Doesn’t appear as frequently as other Mutants. Vulnerable to headshots.
