Shooting enemies has a chance to force them into a Harvestable state and aiming for their legs increases this chance. Melee them in this state to charge up your Shield. You can temporarily Overcharge your Shield beyond its normal limit by Shield Harvesting at full charge.

Counter enemies anywhere on their body when they are vulnerable to trigger an enemy’s Counter effect. Hit the specific location called out by the icon to perform a Critical Counter, which will deal damage on top of triggering the Counter effect.

Chain together your Traversal moves to keep your momentum up and cover distance quickly. Mixing in Ground Bounces, Wall Bounces and Slides will reset cooldowns on other Traversal moves, allowing reuse and continuous movement through the environment.
These moves will also grant you a temporary Traversal Buff which improves your cooldown or traversal range.

Each character can perform a powerful Melee attack.
A successful Melee attack sends enemies flying and makes the next Firearm hits on them Critical Hits. Act quickly and you can Shoot enemies in the air for a Juggle Kill.

When reloading a Firearm follow the on-screen prompt to perform a Critical Reload. Timing this reload correctly for the specific Firearm will increase reload speed and get you back into the action quicker. Failing a Critical Reload will force you to wait for the full duration of the weapon’s reload.

Terminauts enter and control enemies from the inside out. In combat, they can resurrect enemies on the battlefield. Terminauts can eject from enemies at the point of death to save themselves –hunt down and kill ejected Terminauts before they find a new host for an extra damage buff.
Use the Enemy Location Pulse during a Mission to show critical enemies. Enemies will highlight green or red, with the latter being the ones most important to the current Mission.

During Missions Gizmo will sometimes deploy one of his custom Vehicles. Up to two Squad members can jump in and cause chaos but these vehicles are unstable and only last a limited time.

Afflict multiple nearby enemies using Melee weapons with Ivy’s Afflictions applied. Charge up your Affliction resource by damaging enemies, then hold the Melee button to trigger an Affliction Strike.

Afflict enemies at range by using Grenades with one of Ivy’s Afflictions applied. Hold the Grenade button to throw an Affliction Grenade (requires a Grenade in your inventory).
