Dr. Franklin

I’m sorry there was nothing more we could do. We could only save one of the children.

Mr. Parraba

Will. Its name is Will. I’ll take my child now, and I’ll leave.

Dr. Franklin

That’s not necessary.

Mr. Parraba

Tell me, truly, that you did everything in your power to save my wife!

Dr. Franklin

I. I don’t…

Mr. Parraba

Look into my eyes! Speak!

Dr. Franklin

Please. Please, don’t hurt me.

Mr. Parraba

You are dead to me. I’m leaving with my child now.

Dr. Franklin

What have I done. What have I done.

Colonel

You’ve done your duty, Doctor.

Dr. Franklin

Fuck you.

Colonel

Now, Doctor Franklin, no need for that. Doctor Parraba could not be suffered to live with her child, you knew that from the start. She’d run to high a risk of discovering what we had done to it.

Dr. Franklin

It was a baby. I’ve killed a baby.

Colonel

It was a baby alien, Doctor. A monster. You’d be wise to remember that.

I expect a report in the morning.
